Jon-Michael Plomteaux Founder & Principal | ProDeCon Consulting Corp.

Jon-Michael Plomteaux is the Founder and Principal of ProDeCon Consulting Corp., a firm he established during his contract work with Merlone Geier Partners. Through ProDeCon, he has directed major redevelopment and construction initiatives focused on project development, entitlement strategy, and execution across the Western United States.

With more than 25 years of experience spanning architecture, construction, and real estate development, Jon-Michael is recognized for his ability to translate complicated projects into successful, high-value outcomes. His portfolio includes large-scale redevelopments such as The UV in Sacramento, Sunrise Village in Citrus Heights, and Diablo Valley Plaza in Pleasant Hill. He also led the design and entitlement phases for the Delta Shores Retail project in Sacramento and guided numerous regional developments, including Broadstone Marketplace in Folsom, Renaissance Creek in Roseville, and Lincoln Hills Town Center.

Before founding ProDeCon, Jon-Michael served as Associate Vice President at Nadel Architects, where he co-managed the Sacramento office, oversaw business development, and led projects through complex entitlement and permitting processes. Earlier in his career, he guided cross-continental design and construction efforts for SEELE, a German design-build façade company, where he managed iconic civic and cultural projects across Europe and the Middle East.

An active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), he remains closely engaged in advancing the retail and mixed-use development sector.

Originally from Germany, Jon-Michael now resides in Cameron Park, California, where he continues to lead ProDeCon’s expanding portfolio of projects throughout the Western United States.

Away from the office, he can usually be found mountain biking the El Dorado Trail, kayaking with his daughter, or elbows-deep in a German engine bay - often discovering new ways to turn simple repairs into weekend-long projects.  He’s a proud grandfather who believes grandkids are the best reminder that patience and humor are part of every successful plan. When he’s not outdoors or under a hood, he can be found admiring his wife’s beautiful paintings - a skill he freely admits he hasn’t inherited.
